FOREST4EU is a Horizon Europe project focused on strengthening the connections between existing Operational Groups (OGs) in the forest sector across Europe. By fostering knowledge transfer and best practices, the project aims to enhance innovation and sustainability in forestry.
Led by key partners such as the University of Florence and CESEFOR, FOREST4EU has already analyzed 86 Operational Groups, identifying 175 forest innovations since 2014. These efforts represent a small portion of the over 760 OGs dealing with forestry issues out of the 3,800+ European OGs funded by the EU.
